Gear Intern [CLOSED]
RCRC year round volunteer positions are opportunities for people seeking academic credit, job training, and volunteer experience. All positions become available on a rotating basis, and all positions are currently unpaid, although they provide an opportunity to do meaningful work for a nonprofit organization that matches your passions and values. Our year round volunteer positions provide a great opportunity to network and build skills in a positive work environment with an incredible team. If you are looking to receive school credit, we are happy to work with your school to meet their requirements. We are also happy to provide job recommendations and letters.
The Gear Intern works directly with RCRC staff to maintain our gear inventory, arrange for repairs, plan trades for other inventory when necessary, and create and maintain systems of organization. Previous experience at any Girls Rock Camp as a camper, volunteer, or intern is preferred. A comprehensive knowledge of musical equipment is necessary- ranging from drum hardware, microphones, guitars, basses, to keyboards and more! The Gear Intern also plans for the gear needed for community events involving RCRC bands, and a car/valid driver’s license is preferred to help transport gear to and from these events. The Gear Intern is also responsible for arranging pick-ups/drop-offs of donated gear. A dream job for a gear enthusiast!
