What is Adult Rock Camp and who is it for?

Rain City Rock Camp’s Adult Rock Camp (RCARC/ARC) is a multi-day camp that creates opportunities for adults of marginalized genders to find their inner power and rekindle their sense of joy using music as the tool. These opportunities also build our community of volunteers, mentors and activists that support Rain City Rock Camp’s youth programming. We believe it’s never too late to try something new, and we want you to come join us, exactly as you are. No music experience required.

ARC’s programmatic vision is to cultivate a community of passionate, creative, and socially engaged individuals who will serve as stewards, mentors and leaders in changing the world. We hope to raise an army of Unapologetic Self-Love Warriors to spread the mission of RCRC, far and wide.

Who May Apply to ARC?

All adults of marginalized genders ages 21+ are welcome to be campers. No music experience is required, and you don’t have to live in Seattle or Washington state to be eligible. Black, Indigenous, People of Color and gender-expansive individuals are strongly encouraged to apply!

How Much Does Adult Rock Camp Cost?

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to have their voice heard. That’s why our tuition is on a sliding scale from $500 to $50. If you need assistance with payment options, please indicate on your application or email programsupport@raincityrockcamp.org. We appreciate your support in paying what you are able, and any amount over $500 is a tax-deductible donation that will continue to help us rock the world! Your support continues to make this experience accessible to all.

What Happens After I Apply for Adult Rock Camp?

You’ll hear back from us confirming the receipt of your application within the week after you apply. Applications close on March 31st, and we will be in touch that week to confirm if you have a spot! If you don’t initially get a spot in ARC, don’t worry. You’ll be immediately put on the waiting list and will hear from us if any spots become available. We’ll do our best to get you in!
