RCRC Staff band, Dog Feelings!

Adult Rock Camp is a weekend day camp designed to empower all womxn, trans, and gender expansive/non-conforming folx ages 21+ through music and empowerment. We believe it’s never too late to try something new, and we want you to come join us, exactly as you are. No music experience required.

Spring Location: Virtual

Spring Dates: *NEW: TWO WEEKENDS, ONE PROGRAM!* May 7th, 8th, 9th and May 14th + 15th

COVID-19 Update: With the health and safety of our community in mind, we’ve decided to stay virtual with ARC this year—Virtual Electric! Participate online—with or without an instrument—in sessions designed to help you exercise your voice, explore your potential, and become part of a music community. And, because we know everyone’s on screen-time overdrive right now, we’ve expanded camp across two weekends, and as we did in 2020, we’re sending participants a welcome kit of hands-on goodies that bring the fun and learning from the screen into the real world.

After a successful year of virtual programming, we know that we can rock out just as hard virtually as we do in person!

  • Instrument Instruction (drums, guitar, bass, keys, vox) with gear provided as needed by RCRC
  • Band formation and song creation using digital music platform Soundtrap to collaborate
  • Show off your band’s new music video at our live-streamed virtual showcase
  • Enjoy live-streamed performances by incredible local musicians
  • Participate in workshops on songwriting, self-appreciation practices, and more
  • Try out music for the first time or level up your existing skills

Who May Apply to ARC?

All womxn, trans, and gender expansive/non-conforming folx ages 21+ are welcome to be campers. No music experience is required, and you don’t have to live in Seattle or Washington state to be eligible. Black, Indigenous, People of Color and gender expansive individuals are strongly encouraged to apply!

How Much Does Adult Rock Camp Cost?

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to have their voice heard. That’s why our tuition is on a sliding scale from $425 to $0 and is, as always, pay-what-you-can. We appreciate your support in paying what you are able, and any amount over $425 is a tax-deductible donation that will continue to help us rock the world! Your support continues to make this experience accessible to all.

What Happens After I Apply for Adult Rock Camp?

You’ll hear back from us as soon as possible at the end of the application period (ending April 9th). If you don’t initially get a spot in ARC, don’t worry. You’ll be immediately put on the waiting list and will hear from us if any spots become available. We’ll do our best to get you in!
