Reid Thomas (she/ her)

Development and Communications Manager

Perhaps the morning car rides listening to mom’s Dead Kennedy’s CD collection explain Reid’s early love of punk. Inspired by Kim Gordon and Tina Weymouth, Reid took up bass and delved into the DIY scene. She established the first ever feminist club at her conservative high school, proudly named “Girl Spit”– later the title of her college radio hour at KXSU here in Seattle, where she continued to pursue a love of music. Since 2015, Reid has been working in radio, non-profit arts and education, and continuing her radicalization. She believes in the healing power of community, food as medicine, and analog supremacy.
